Prairie Ecology Lab

The Clemson Prairie Ecology Lab is situated in the Bull Mountains of south-central Montana.  Students have access to the adjacent High Meadows Ranch (photos below) which is an ideal field base for research on prairie ecology in the region.  The ranch itself is owned by Clemson Alumni Goz and Pat Segars who have graciously provided resources and the lab building for use to program members.

The lab building is fully furnished with all the accompanyments of home (phone, internet, TV, kitchen, etc.), with great views of the Bull Mountains and two lakes with waterfowl right out the front door.  There are 3 individual rooms and a bunkroom.

Vehicles for faculty and student use (and horses) are available on-site.
